Come hear the thunderous falls, examine the awe-inspiring cliffs and rugged terrain and witness first hand, Native Americans fishing for salmon from wooden scaffolds with dipnets and setnets, as they have for thousands of years.
Day use fishing and overnight camping is allowed in the area. A day use permit is $3.00 and camping is $10.00 per night. Stop by one of the kiosks on either side of the river to find pay stations, fishing regulations, and general information. No RV hook ups or water is available on site. There are portable toilets and trash receptacles on site. Seasonal Day Use Passes can be purchased for $25 at the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Natural Resources office.
