Hear the thunderous falls, see the awe-inspiring cliffs and rugged terrain and witness first hand Native Americans fishing for salmon from wooden scaffolds with dipnets and setnets, as they have for thousands of years.
Day-use fishing and overnight camping is allowed in the area. Permits for Sherars Falls are not available for purchase online. Stop by one of the kiosks on either side of the river to find pay stations, fishing regulations and general information. No RV hook ups or water is available on site. There are portable toilets and trash receptacles on site. A day use permit is $10 per day and a season permit is $50. Camping is $10 per night in addition to the day use or season pass. Season Passes can be purchased for $50 at the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Natural Resources office (see Contact Page for directions) or by mail.
